Ingredients:

1 cup of water

1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger

1 tablespoon honey

1 lemon wedge

Instructions:

  1. Crush and grind all the spices (except the chopped ginger) using pestle and mortar.
  2. Add one cup of water and chopped ginger in a saucepan over medium flame. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring frequently using a wooden spoon. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Now add turmeric and cinnamon to the mixture. Allow all the ingredients to blend and brew for another 5-7 minutes.

1 cup boiling water

1 mason jar

Instructions:

  1. Cook the fruits in a saucepan until they become soft.
  2. Add Strawberry tisane into a tea infuser and pour boiling water over it. Let it brew for 2-4 minutes. Strain the tea, add sugar and allow it to reach room temperature.
  3. Blend the tea and cooked fruits to form a puree. Allow it to cool in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours for the flavours to seep in.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Hibiscus herbal tisane

1 cup of boiled water

1 tablespoon honey or sugar -as per your preference (for taste)

1 cinnamon stick (optional)

Mint leaves (optional)

Lime wedge (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Put the water to boil on the stove and while you wait for it to get boiled completely, set up the other ingredients.
  2. Next, add boiling water to the hibiscus herbal tisane. To avoid the water from splashing, transfer it slowly. The good thing about this tea is that there is no caffeine in it. So you can add as much as you want without any guilt. Though the drink calls for just 10 grams, you can add as per your taste preference.
  3. Let the tisane steep for 10 minutes so that it can develop deep red colour and tart like flavour. For a stronger flavour, steep longer.
  4. Strain the hibiscus flower out with the help of a metal strainer.
  5. You can add sweetener as per preference (or none at all). Cinnamon, mint or lime wedge can also be added as garnishing. Your tea is now ready.
