This tea has been produced by Selim Hill which is one of the largest tea estates in Darjeeling and is better known for its “high quality organic green tea” throughout the world. Residing in the foothills of Himalayan Mountains, at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level, Selim Hill is spread across an area of 370 Hectares where nearly 200 people are involved in farming premium quality orthodox teas every year. Aroma is like grilled greens and sun-dried cherry tomato. Leaves appear as lightly-rolled, blackish-green leaves with ochre hues.
Aroma is fruity and appears as dark green.
The liquor is light and quite astringent around the edges. Crisp notes of grilled greens dominate the cup while earthy undercurrents of roasted grains add depth and body to the liquor. Top notes of spinach and asparagus with some marine hints towards the back.

Selim Hill is a sprawling organic tea estate located in Kurseong area in Darjeeling district. It's perched on a hill slope with varying elevations that rises up to some 3,500ft and facing the mountain on its north. The estate is spread over a gross area of 370 hectares out of which tea plantation is done in 170 hectares. It is spilt into upper and lowers segments and includes four villages.
