San-cha Tea Boutique-

Who has not heard about Sanjay Kapoor? All of us have!

This café was launched by master tea taster Sanjay Kapoor in 1981 which resembles of an old-world English style tea lounge. This café is known to be the Delhi’s first tea parlor and India’s second one. This place is better known as “Aap Ki Pasand” and is known to treat its customers with exotic and premium flavors of tea. They also have a store called as the “Sancha Tea Boutique” which has a brilliant assortment of teas for sale. The teas here are of very high quality and is been selected by the professionals across the country. The tea here is packed with aromatic flavors that will surely blow away your mind.

This is a perfect place to shop for luxurious tea, and wait here is more!

If you can’t decide on which tea to buy, you don’t have to panic because the tea sommeliers here will help you find your cup of tea. They also give you tips and even teach you to make good tea. Isn’t it awesome!

This place is next to the hauzkhas Village. This is a salon and tearoom by Blossom Kochhar. You can walk in for a relaxed massage and enjoy the day with teas and sandwiches. You will fall in love with this place once you come here and will want to come again. The place is warm and welcoming, and is probably one of the best places to relax with a cup of tea. The super awesome breakfast, mini pancakes, crepes etc are the major attractions.

Different flavours of warm infusions like Mint and Ginger, or Ginger, Cinnamon, and Organic Honey are given to ward off the flu. The other famous varieties for summer are the Iced Orange Spiced Tea or the Iced Minty Mint Tea.The best thing about this place is that you can pamper yourself with exotic massages or you can also just sit back and relax. The food is heavenly here with an unforgettable taste with a blend of various flowers and herbs, curated to soothe your senses.

The Chai Story

This place is a real deal when it comes to relaxing and chilling out. Just simply sit with a book for hours by sipping the tea or just enjoy the scene around.

Drink from the wide variety of tea from “The Chai Story.” They have almost all the varieties of tea which is served with milk, infusions, and all the classics. For summers, they have iced teas in flavors’ like Mango, Green & Lemon, and Wild Berries.

Cha Bar

The name is short, Cha Bar, but it is one of the first urban contemporary space that created a rage in Kolkata in year 2000, turning tea from a dry page in history to a lifestyle drink! Cha bar was made in old iconic Oxford Bookstore in city center Park Street which is almost 90 years old. Cha-Bar has a classy-contemporary look with an ambience which will leave you breathless. All the people who come here grab a book from Oxford Bookstore and sit down to drink a cup of tea. The place is highly crowded on weekdays as people spend maximum time relaxing here with a cup of tea.

This concept was then duplicated and then expanded all over India. It is an integrated Bookstore in which customers browse and read the books over an amazing cup of tea. The special thing about this place is that customers love the experience of being able to browse at leisure.

There is a wide range of selection of teas at this place and you can sip the rejuvenating beverage, iced or piping hot! You can enjoy Flowering Teas, Organic Teas, Herbal Teas, Diet Teas, Fruit Teas, to an exclusive range of Darjeeling, Nilgiri, Sikkim and Oolong, complimented by the best in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Moroccan, Russian, Sri Lankan, South African and Thai Teas – make up more than 150 varieties.

This is a recent one and is becoming famous like crazy. Everybody in Delhi knows about this café popularly known as “Chaayos.” They have opened a few branches in the Delhi NCR. This is a superb place to visit after a long days work and chill out with friends.
The most popular varieties of tea in here are aampapadwali Chai, God’s Chai, harimirch Chai, Sab Kuch Chai and Pahadi Chai. Pick up a grub while you’re here too.

Jugmugthela

The name itself indicates that this place has all the charm that a tea lover needs. This place is located at Saidulajab and is a perfect place to hang out with friends. Even if you want to spend some peaceful time with yourself reading or just me -time then this place is perfect. You can also enjoy and artisanal cup or two at the makeshift jugmugthela.

There are various varieties of refreshing teas in here. Every cup of tea has a distinct taste with great design and a variety reading room for book lovers. Don’t forget to try their favorite varieties of tea such as the chocolate cinnamon ice tea, which stands out from other teas and is a new combination. Get the temoruno, the Yogi’s Tea, or the Three Flowers Tea when you’re here.

Waghbakri tea lounge

A few years nobody knew Waghbakri but it came into lime light with the excellent tea taste it brought for its customers. This tea lounge was introduced in Delhi by stalwart tea enterprise waghbakri. This lounge specializes in a various variety of teas for everyone and is a great place for people who love to experiment with tea varieties. You can order any tea here such as organic, black, Darjeeling, everything! They have awesome teas such as gourmet tea, like the Maristar Tea, or the Lemon + Cinnamon Tea. They even serve tea with ice cream! You can also try their lovely Chocochip Ice Cream Tea.

T lounge by Dilmah

This vibrant lounge is located at the Khan Market and is a good place to relax when you want to relax a bit. This place is the best when you come in the early mornings and is one of the few tea shops in Delhi where you can go get your food and tea paired.  They have Sri Lankan variety of teas and all other varieties too. Get the Baked Cheesecake with Lychee and Ginger served with Vanilla Ceylon Tea.

Elma’s Bakery, Bar & Kitchen

This place was started who came to India a few years back from England. They serve the perfect breakfast tea. The famous varieties are the Red Rose, or Nilgiri Frost. Enjoy your choice of tea paired with delicious home baked breads and pastries in a calm retro space.

Anandini Himalayan Tea

This is very cool café located at shahpurjat where you can go and spend your afternoons chilling alone or with friends. The ambience is very nice and relaxing, and so is the tea! They offer many varieties of estate blend teas, fruit infused teas and every other tea which you can’t even think of. They even have gourmet teas and a limited edition Black Dragon Tea. And Anamika, the founder, is a wonderful host to chat with as well!

Tea pot café

This is one of the best tea lounges in India and has a chain of restraints too. They have many varieties of tea from kadakadrakwali Chai, Masala Chai, Oolong tea. There is hardly any variety of tea which you miss in here!

The famous varieties are Chocolate Tea, Hibiscus Tea, and White Tea. You can also try out the delicious desikulhar (clay cup) tea along with a variety of other options like mint, jasmine, Darjeeling to name a few.
