Apple Cinnamon Tea Latte
As the winter winds roll around the corner, everyone looks out for drinks like hot chocolate or pumpkin spiced coffees. But for us, nothing fills the heart and home with warmth like a steaming, aromatic cup of tea. A perfectly curated cup of tea inspires musings and conversations. However, your perfect cup doesn’t always have to be same repetitive brew. This winter, opt for a spiced up version of your regular tea, and try our specially designed Apple Cinnamon tea latte. A blend of crisp apples and sweet yet spicy cinnamon, the apple cinnamon tea latte is the perfect brew to start a dialogue over this season.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Milk
- 2 Tbsp Cinnamon tea
- 1 Qty Apple
- 1/2 Tsp Ginger
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon sticks/ powder for garnish
Instructions

Pour milk, ginger and sugar into a sauce pan and let it boil.

Once the mixture boils, add cinnamon tea to it and bring it to another boil.

While the tea brews on medium flame, peel and chop the apple.

Add the apple and strained tea into a blender and blend the mixture until the apple completely combines into the tea.

Return the apple cinnamon tea mixture to the stove, and give it one last boil over high flame to attain a little froth.

Pour the mixture through a strainer into the cups.

Garnish the warm drink with cinnamon powder or sticks.
Recipe Notes
- Milk of any variety can be used (toned, soy milk, almond milk etc).
- Sugar can be substituted with healthier sweeteners like stevia, honey or jaggery.
- Avoid using tart apples like Granny Smith, otherwise your tea might turn sour.
- To make your tea frothier, try pouring the mixture from a significant height through the strainer.
