Ingredients

  • 1 Stalk Lemongrass
  • 7 Slices Fresh Ginger
  • 5 Teaspoons Green tea
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

Instructions

  • The first thing which needs to be done, is the slicing of the lemongrass. So clean the stalk and cut it into 2-inch lengths and crush it with a large knife. Boil around 4 cups of water, put it on the boil and add ginger, lemongrass, and sugar to it.
  • Let the mixture boil properly before removing it from the heat. Next up, steep the tea for about 5 minutes, if you want a stronger flavor, allow the leaves to remain in for around 15 to 20 minutes. If you like your tea mild, then strain the mixture after 5 to 8 minutes. 
  • Refrigerate and keep it chilled for at least 2 hours serve in tall glasses. Add an ice cube and ginger slices for added flavors. You can make a large batch and sip on it throughout the day.
