Teafloor houses a variety of teas and tisanes. While black, green, oolong, and white teas contain various levels of caffeine, tisanes are caffeine free herbal teas. Tea is a natural crop, so it is difficult to determine exact caffeine levels. Therefore, we cannot provide definitive figures. However, the table below lists the average levels of caffeine that can be found in different teas.

No. We do not decaffeinate any of our teas, here at Teafloor. The decaffeination process involves a lot of chemicals that can affect the flavour and quality of the tea, which is why we do not have decaffeinated tea as part of our range. However, we do offer a range of tisanes, which are herbal teas made by blending herbs, spices, fruits and flowers without tea leaves.

Compounds naturally present in tea called polyphenols, catechins and flavonoids function as antioxidants, which makes tea an extremely healthy beverage to consume daily.

To ensure that your tea stays vibrant and delicious, we recommend storing it in an airtight tin or dark glass jar away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Orders received before noon IST (Indian Standard Time) usually ship out the same business day. Orders received after this time generally leave on the next business day.

Our aim is to provide solutions to everyday problems like stress, sleeplessness, poor digestion, weak immune system etc. After thorough research by our master blenders and nutritionists, we have selected some appropriate herbs, fruits and flowers, and blended them with green tea. Though we don’t claim any medicinal cure to these problems, we can assure you that these teas can serve as a helping hand to solve them.

When talking about tea production, ‘organic’ means organically produced or production without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial chemicals. In today’s time, only a few tea gardens produce tea based on organic standards. ChaiSpa is a blend of green tea and herbs that offer the best of wellness to its drinkers. Now, while the tea used in ChaiSpa may not be ‘organically produced’, we do make sure that our ingredients are tested by both our master blenders and nutritionist.

Of course not. There is no difference in the quality of either of the ranges of tea. The purity and high quality of our brews and blends will leave you confused when it comes to selecting the best tea for you. However, each has its own benefits and unique taste.

Yes, it does. Every tea needs to be boiled at a certain temperature. Over brewing can burn the tea leaves which greatly affects its taste. For your reference:

You can make two cups of tea out of one tea bag at a time but you cannot store the tea bag for later use as the tea leaves and the essential herbs will lose their flavour and with them their beneficial qualities.

While the general procedure of preparing tea leaves are similar, there is a difference in the temperature of water and steeping time. For your convenience, we have mentioned the steeping instructions of each tea on their pages on our website teafloor.com. The quantity of tea leaves depends on the type of tea being used. For example, a cup of Green tea requires 1-2 gm for 180ml and CTC requires 2-3gm for 180ml.

If consumed in an appropriate amount, tea will never cause any harm to your body. However, if consumed more than recommended, it can cause acidity. Similarly, for pregnant women caffeinated teas may not be suitable, therefore they should always consult their doctors before consuming any tea during pregnancy.

It’s not a very tedious task to make green tea a part of your everyday routine. All you need to do is figure out the reason why you want to drink green tea. For example, if you want to start drinking green tea for better digestion, start with one cup every day after your meal.
