New Year Resolution for a Healthier Life with Tea

In just a few hours 2016 will be over and the New Year celebrations will begin. A grand welcome to the year 2017 and with this new day comes the time to make new promises to ourselves and our loved ones.

Almost every one of us makes New Year resolutions. So what are the top resolutions this year? Options vary from person to person and it depends on the preference of the individual, whether he or she wants to overcome a bad habit or/and form a new habit.

Whatever be the preference and however good the intentions are from the start, research suggests only 8 percent of us stick to them. That figure may be grim, but take solace in this: Those who make resolutions are 10 times more likely to change their behavior than those who don’t.

A lot of resolutions are focused on not to do the things anymore- like quit smoking, eat healthier food by quitting junk food – or point out personal failings, like being disorganized or unable to manage your time well. While it’s always worth making changes in your life, why not focus on things you want to do more of?

Let’s make this New Year resolution special by doing something unusual this 2017!!!

But what would that be? And how would we do that?

It’s simple – ‘Become a Tea Lover this new year.’

Many of us start out like a thunder but eventually end up doing nothing, thereby breaking the resolution. We need to be focused on the “losing weight phenomenon” because with focus comes energy to survive this journey.

Add a cup of tea, green tea especially if you want to lose weight and become fit. The constituents in green tea are responsible for fastening the fat burning process in the body and moreover the antioxidants present in green tea helps to prevent various forms of cancer in the body. 2. Saying NO to junk food

Is your New Year resolution – “Say no to junk foods?” If yes, you are at the right place. Replacing sugary beverages with unsweetened teas can cut a lot of calories, and tea is full of antioxidants and can help support your immune system.

There are various forms of tea such as green tea, oolong tea and black tea, which can be replaced with the dangerously artificial sweetened beverage which we consume often. If you can go raw, it’s fine to replace the craving of sweetened beverages with a cup of green tea or oolong tea but if you are not a tea person, you can make yourself some ice tea or some similar kind of tea drinks which would be much more beneficial than drinking the sugary drinks.

Some researches show that once you have started to drink healthy, you automate yourself to eat healthy all of a sudden. The feeling of being healthy automatically circulates into your mind and difference occurs.

Although making the New Year resolution seems interesting and fun at first but it takes a lot of courage and patience to move forward with the resolution. Here are a few steps which would help you to stick to your resolution and be a success.

  • Just pick one thing at a time and concentrate on it. If you want to change your life or your lifestyle don’t try to change the whole thing at once. It won’t work. Instead pick one area of your life to change to begin with.
  • To ensure success you need to research the change you’re making and plan ahead so you have the resources available when you need them.
  • Pick s start date and go for it. On the big day go for it 100%. Make a commitment and write it down on a card.
  • When you feel discouraged, remind yourself how much you’ve accomplished in the past. Define a baseline level of wellness that you’ll be able to commit to and sustain over the course of your lifetime.

And yes apart from all of these..

Don’t forget to reward yourself with a cup of tea this New Year, 2017

Happy New Year Folks!!!
